Feature overview
Work, Updates, and From Me tabs give you a personal view of your tasks in Tasket, organised by your relationship to each task. They appear in the top navigation of Tasket and let you quickly see what needs your attention, what is happening on tasks you follow, and what you have created. A red dot on any task in the Work or Updates tab signals that new activity has occurred so you can prioritise without opening every item. When to use
Work tab: when you want to focus on tasks you are responsible for. The Work tab is your primary place to manage active work and catch up on tasks that have gone quiet, because only tasks where you are an assignee appear here, Updates tab: when you want to monitor progress on tasks you are contributing to or watching. Use it to stay informed about conversations and changes without being an assignee. You can also dismiss tasks you no longer want to follow. From Me tab: when you want to review tasks you have created. How to use
Work tab
The Work tab shows every task where you are listed as an assignee. Tasks are ordered with older items first. Specifically, tasks that have not received a comment in over seven days appear at the top, followed by more recently active tasks. This ordering surfaces stale work that may need your attention.Updates tab
The Updates tab shows tasks where you are a watcher. It is divided into two sections:- Contributor: tasks where you are a watcher and have also added at least one comment.
- Watcher: tasks where you are a watcher but have not commented.
From Me tab
The From Me tab shows tasks you have created. Items are grouped into two time periods: past week and past month.FAQ
What makes a task appear in the Work tab?You must be listed as an assignee. Watching a task or creating it does not cause it to appear in Work. Why is an older task at the top of the Work tab?
Tasks that have not received a comment in more than seven days appear first. This surfaces work that may have gone quiet and needs follow-up. What is the difference between Contributor and Watcher in the Updates tab?
Contributor means you are watching a task and have commented on it at least once. Watcher means you are watching it but have not commented. Both groups receive the same red dot notification for new activity. How do I remove a task from the Updates tab?
You can dismiss a task to stop tracking it. Dismissed tasks no longer appear in your Updates tab. Does the From Me tab show a red dot for activity?
No. The red dot indicator for new activity only appears in the Work and Updates tabs.
Troubleshooting
A task I am assigned to is not appearing in the Work tab.Confirm you are listed as an assignee on the task, not just as a watcher or creator. Only assignees see a task under Work. I expected to see a task in Updates but it is not there.
You need to be added as a watcher on the task. Being an assignee or creator does not cause a task to appear in Updates. If you previously dismissed the task, it will no longer appear.
